THE TEAM
The Created is based in the heart of Stellenbosch and owned by Marlise & Elzbé, two Jesus-loving women with a shared vision.
Alongside us is our operations team - Shân and Sam (not featured in this photo) - who receives, processes, and packs your orders with a whole lot of love.
We currently work in a garage we’ve turned into our HQ/warehouse (because the best businesses always start in a garage, right?).
It’s packed to the brim with inventory, laughter, and honestly, a whole lot of fun. It’s not fancy, but it’s full of heart… and it works. For now. 😉
THE POTTER & THE CLAY
It started with a dream that Marlise had during lockdown 2020. Inspired by Isaiah 64:8: “We are the clay, You are our potter; we are all the work of Your hand”, a deep conviction followed: We were created by the God of the Bible, on purpose, in His image.
She knew right then, if she ever started a business, this would be the name. A little clue. A breadcrumb to spark curiosity.
So every time someone visits our website, puts on our jewellery, or sees our name, it’s a small invitation to pause and wonder: Who made you?
Because you weren’t made by accident. Not by fate. But by a God who sees the whole picture, even when you can’t.
THE JEWELLERY
Durability is non-negotiable. Every piece is made from stainless steel or titanium, with our gold-toned designs plated in genuine 14K or 18K gold.
Our jewellery is tarnish- and waterproof, so you can sweat, swim, shower, sleep and repeat without taking it off. Live your best life without worrying about your jewellery throwing in the towel.
