THE TEAM
The Created is based in the heart of Stellenbosch and owned by Marlise & Elzbé — two Jesus-loving women with a shared vision.
Alongside us is our operations team — Shân and Sam (not featured in this photo) — who receives, processes, and packs your orders with a whole lot of love.
We currently work in a garage we’ve turned into our HQ/warehouse (because the best businesses always start in a garage, right?).
It’s packed to the brim — with stock, laughter, and honestly, a whole lot of fun. It’s not fancy, but it’s full of heart… and it works. For now. 😉
THE POTTER & THE CLAY
It started with a dream that our founder, Marlise, had during lockdown 2020. Inspired by Isaiah 64:8: “We are the clay, You are our potter; we are all the work of Your hand” — a deep conviction followed: We were created by the God of the Bible, on purpose, in His image.
That dream stayed in her heart for two years… until 2022, when The Created was born.
The name is not a conincidence. We hope it sparks curiosity about the heart of our story.

Each piece is crafted from stainless steel or titanium, with our gold-toned styles plated in real 14K or 18K gold — made to last.
Our jewellery is tarnish- and waterproof, designed for your everyday. Sweat, swim, shower, sleep — do it all without a care.
And because we believe accessories shouldn’t break the bank, our pieces are also affordable, offering lasting quality without the luxury markup.
We source our pieces locally and abroad, carefully selecting items that’s made to be worn every day.
